E833 -- Determination de l'effet d'un machine hydraulique inventee par M. Segner, professeur a Goettingue
(To dertermine the effect of a hydraulic machine invented by Mr. Segner, a Professor at Gottingen)
This paper, written about an early version of a reaction water-turbine, formed the basis of Euler's
later analysis of the centrifugal pump.
According to C. G. J. Jacobi, it was read to the Berlin
Academy on September 28, 1752.
