E747 -- De seriebus memorabilibus, quibus sinus et cosinus angulorum multiplorum exprimere licet
(On remarkable series, by which the sines and cosines of multiplied angles may be expressed)
Summary:
Euler starts with a power series expansion of cos(2xw) using binomial coefficients and
unknown factors to the coefficients A, B, C, … and does a similar thing on
sin(2xw) and gets a couple of series expansions in terms of
sin(nw) and sinnw.
