Summary:
This paper presents the resolution of integers as the sum of four squares, after the influence of Lagrange. Then, in section 9, Euler talks about the resolution of integers into three triagonal numbers.
According to the
records, it was presented to the St. Petersburg Academy on October 19, 1775.
