E298 -- De insigni promotione methodi tangentium inversae
(On the notable advancement of the inverse method of tangents)
Summary:
Euler considers the problems that arise from mixed differential and difference equations. For example: the problem of
reciprocal trajectory.
According to C. G. J. Jacobi, a treatise with this title was read to the Berlin Academy on
September 3, 1761.
According to the records, it was presented to the St. Petersburg Academy on
May 17, 1762.
