Summary:
Euler cedes priority to d'Alembert for
the first resolution of the problem of precession of the equinoxes
and nutation of the earth's axis (solved by Euler in E171) and for
the first published example of an equation whose graph exhibits a
cuspidal point of the second kind (see E169)
